Problem
Users want to see additional fields or different columns in the Payments related list that appears on Itinerary records. By default, the related list may not show all the information users need to view at a glance.
What We Found
The Payments related list columns are controlled by the Itinerary Page Layout in Salesforce Setup. The related list configuration determines which fields appear as columns when viewing payments on an Itinerary record.
Solution
- Navigate to Setup > Object Manager > Itinerary object > Page Layouts
- Edit the page layout assigned to your users (click the layout name to edit)
- Scroll down to find the Payments related list section
- Click on the wrench icon on the Payments related list to open column configuration
- Select the fields you want to display as columns (use Add/Remove buttons)
- Save the page layout
Notes
- Changes to the page layout affect all users assigned to that layout
- If different user profiles need different columns, consider creating separate page layouts and assigning them via Profile or Record Type
- The Payments related list must be present on the page layout for the ‘View More’ link to work in the Kaptio UI
